Cancellation Policy

Achieve Counseling & Wellness is committed to providing high quality behavioral and mental health counseling/therapy and clinical supervision services to as many people as possible. Because demand for services is typically high, we ask that you schedule appointments that you are confident you will be able to keep. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we request that you do so at least 24 hours in advance. When an appointment is cancelled without adequate notice, we are unable to fill the appointment by offering it to another person, couple, or family.

We require a credit card be kept on file to cover fees and/or copays related to your services. To cover costs of doing business, we charge a late cancellation fee for missed, cancelled, or rescheduled appointments with less than 24 hours' notice. The late cancellation fee for Associate Counselor/Therapist is $50.00. The late cancellation fee for Counselor/Therapist appointments is $70.00. The late cancellation fee for Executive Director appointments is $100.00. 

When scheduling an Initial Evaluation by phone, we will charge your credit card to be kept on file a scheduling deposit of $1.00. If you keep or reschedule your appointment with more than 24 hours' notice, the deposit will be applied towards your kept appointment fee or co-pay. If you miss, cancel, or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, your credit card will be charged the remaining balance to cover the late cancellation fee. 

When scheduling appointments online, we require a scheduling deposit equal to the late cancellation fee. The deposit will be applied towards your kept appointment rate fee or co-pay. If you miss, cancel, or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, the scheduling deposit will be applied to the late cancellation fee. If you cancel more than 24 hours in advance, and do not wish to reschedule, the deposit will be refunded. Any remaining credit will be applied to future fees, copays, or refunded.
