No, we are not contracted with Medicare, Medicaid, or AHCCCS plans.
What if my co-pay is less than the scheduling deposit?
Any amounts paid for scheduling deposits will be credited to your chart within our electronic health record. We will apply credit towards copay and/or fees until your balance is $0.00.
If you terminate services before you have used the full credit balance, we will issue you a refund once all claims for your services have been paid by you and/or your insurance plan.
How do I know if services will be covered and how much I will owe?
Each healthcare insurance plan is different.
Please contact your healthcare plan to inquire on your covered outpatient mental health benefits and patient responsibility regarding co-pays, co-insurance, and/or deductibles.
If you would like to use insurance benefits, please provide us with your insurance information when scheduling your New Client Intake Session. We will attempt to contact the insurance plan to gather your benefits and coverage details. It is important to note that insurance companies do not provide a guarantee regarding benefits and coverage. There is a chance that your services will not be covered or the amount you are responsible for may change. If your services are not covered by your insurance, you will be responsible for the self-pay rate, or if eligible, the sliding scale rate of the service.
I have not met my required deductible for my mental health benefits. Will I have to pay the self-pay rates until I meet my deductible?
If your provider accepts your plan, and you have not met your required deductible, you will be responsible for the contracted rates for your insurance plan. Insurance contracted rates are lower than the self-pay rates. Contact us to inquire on the contracted rates for your plan.
I have a high deductible plan and cannot afford the contracted rates. What options do I have for affordable counseling and therapy?
Our Associate Counselor offers reduced self-pay and reduced sliding scale rates.
How do I schedule an appointment for psychotherapy services?
New and current clients can schedule online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Scheduling is also available by phone during our regular business hours by calling (602) 567-0263.
What type of appointment should I schedule?
If you are scheduling your first appointment with one of our providers, please schedule a New Client Intake Session.
If you have already completed an Intake Session with your provider, please schedule an Ongoing Established Client Session.
Why is a scheduling deposit required to schedule appointments online?
Scheduling deposits are used to reserve the appointment time with your provider and will be credited to your chart within our electronic health record.
If you keep your scheduled appointment, or cancel or reschedule your appointment with more than 24 hours notice, the credit will be applied towards your kept service(s) co-pay or fee.
If you miss, cancel, or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, the credit will be applied towards the late cancellation fee.
Are scheduling deposits required when scheduling appointments by phone?
When scheduling a New Client Intake Session by phone, we will charge your credit card to be kept on file $1.00 at the time of scheduling. The $1.00 will be credited to your chart within our electronic health record.
If you keep your scheduled appointment, or cancel or reschedule your appointment with more than 24 hours notice, the credit will be applied towards your next kept service co-pay or fee.
If you miss, cancel, or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, your credit card will be charged the remaining balance to cover the applicable late cancellation fee.
What are your late cancellation fees?
If you miss, cancel, or reschedule your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a late cancellation fee will be applied. The late cancellation fee amount varies by provider type.
Our cancellation policy will allow one late cancellation fee be waived per calendar year in the event of illness or serious emergency.
What are telehealth services?
Telehealth services, also known as telemedicine, teletherapy and telecounseling, are online/virtual counseling and therapy services provided in real time through a secure, HIPAA compliant live video conferencing system.
How do telehealth services work?
All you need is internet access to connect to your telehealth session by phone, laptop, desktop, or tablet.
To join your live video telehealth session, simply click your unique and secure session link emailed to you by your provider. There is no downloading, login-ins, or passwords required.
Will my insurance cover telehealth services?
Telehealth services are covered by a majority of plans. However, benefits and coverage vary by plan.
Please contact your healthcare insurance plan to determine if telehealth psychotherapy services are covered with your Achieve provider.
Are telehealth services the best option for me?
Telehealth services are a convenient option for people with busy schedules, people who live or work a considerable distance from our office, people with chronic health conditions, or people who just prefer the flexibility that telehealth offers. Factoring in travel time, attending an in-office appointment often requires anywhere between 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours time commitment.
