A message from Dr. Rebecca

Thank you for taking the first step toward therapy! Reaching out for help and support can be such a difficult thing to do, but there is courage in vulnerability and you’re already making progress toward a better future.


We often take so much on and hold ourselves to such a high standard that we end up feeling stuck. Life can feel overwhelming and while we want to change, we don’t know how. What we don’t realize is that our past experiences are shaping the present. They are a lens through which we view ourselves, other people, and the world around us. Some people have learned tools to navigate life and accomplish their goals with confidence. These people take setbacks in stride and continue onward even when faced with challenges. Other people haven’t had this opportunity. That’s where therapy can help.


My approach as a therapist is warm and collaborative. It’s rooted in evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I believe that therapy should be tailored to each person and fit their unique needs, culture, and values. Your experiences matter and you are the expert in your own life.


Stress, doubt, and emotional pain are part of being human. No matter how successful or resilient a person is, these experiences are inevitable. Participating in therapy doesn’t mean that you’re failing or that something is wrong with you. It means that you’re brave enough to prioritize yourself. The act of therapy is a form of self-care. It heals the mind, body, and spirit, and promotes growth.

Education & Experience

Dr. Rebecca De Los Santos is a skilled and empathic psychologist with a wealth of education and experience that allows her to help her clients move toward change. She received her PhD in clinical psychology from California School of Professional Psychology in 2019 after completing a predoctoral internship at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center.


Since beginning her training, Dr. Rebecca has worked in community and hospital settings providing direct client care for individuals with depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use. She has provided clinical supervision to psychology trainees and participated in process improvement efforts. Her diverse experiences have shaped expertise in the following:

  • Stress and anxiety: Learn how to manage the daily hassles and big life events that cause discomfort and worry.
  • Depression: Uncover the root of depressive symptoms and work toward rebuilding a life aligned with your values.
  • Trauma: Explore how to heal from past traumatic experiences and regain control of your life.
  • Relationship challenges: Strengthen your communication skills toward building healthier relationships.
  • Personal and professional growth: Learn to how balance goals with self-care.


Dr. Rebecca uses an integrative, person-centered approach to therapy that is informed by evidence-based practices such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Understand the impact that core beliefs and automatic thoughts have on emotions and behaviors.
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT): Build a strong foundation of coping skills including: mindfulness, stress and emotion management, and effective communication.
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Increase psychological flexibility and promote values-driven goals.
  • Motivational Interviewing (MI): Explore reasons for change


Dr. Rebecca brings a wealth of experience as a psychologist and clinical supervisor to connect with her clients and support them as they work toward their goals.

This is your first 55-minute session—a dedicated space where your therapist will get to know you, understand what you’re navigating, and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan aligned with your goals.

Booking & Cancellation Policy
To secure your 55-minute appointment, a credit card is required to be kept on file (no deposit is charged at the time of booking).

Late Cancellations & Missed Appointments 

A fee will be charged if an appointment is missed, canceled, or rescheduled with less than 24 hours' notice. Appointments are considered missed if you are not present within 15 minutes of the start time.
