Invest in yourself — and your community.
Achieve Counseling & Wellness is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit private practice founded by therapists who experienced firsthand how difficult it is for working individuals and families to access quality mental health care. Most private practices charge hundreds of dollars per session and don't accept insurance. Online platforms prioritize shareholder returns over client outcomes. And while government-funded agencies serve those in extreme financial hardship, people who work for a living are largely left without good options.
We exist for the people in between — all the workers, managers, small business owners, parents, and caregivers who hold communities together and keep the world running while managing the demands of everyday life.
As a nonprofit, every dollar stays in the mission. Clients who pay full rates help make care affordable for lower-wage workers in Arizona — so choosing therapy here means investing in yourself and giving back at the same time.

Our secure online therapy services make it easy for Arizonans to receive professional mental health support from home, work, or any private space with internet access. Online counseling is proven to be just as effective as in‑person therapy and offers greater convenience for busy schedules.
Benefits of Online Therapy in Arizona

Therapy isn't just a conversation — it's a process that produces measurable changes in how your brain functions. Research using brain imaging has shown that psychotherapy physically alters brain structure and activity over time, including:

Evidence-Based Treatments
Not sure whether online therapy is the right fit? We offer a free 15‑minute consultation—a supportive, no‑pressure conversation where you can ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and explore next steps with one of our licensed therapists. It’s a simple way to get a feel for our approach and decide what feels right for you.
Persistent worry, overwhelm, and stress don't have to be your baseline. Our therapists work with you to understand your anxiety, build practical coping tools, and help you reclaim a sense of calm and confidence in daily life.
Depression dims the things that once brought you joy — and makes even small tasks feel out of reach. We use evidence-based approaches to help you understand what's keeping you stuck and find your way back to a life that feels worth engaging in.
Painful experiences don't always stay in the past — they can shape how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. Our therapists provide a safe space to process what you've been through at your own pace, using evidence-based approaches that support real, lasting healing.
Whether you're navigating conflict, distance, or a pattern that keeps repeating, relationship stress touches every part of your life. We help you build better communication, understand yourself and others more deeply, and move toward the connection you've been missing.
When work, finances, caregiving, and daily responsibilities pile up, stress stops being manageable and starts taking a toll on your health, your sleep, and your relationships. We help you identify what's driving your stress and build practical tools to handle life's demands without running on empty.
Work takes up a significant part of your life — and when it's a source of stress, burnout, or uncertainty, it affects everything else too. Whether you're navigating a difficult workplace, questioning your path, or ready to grow into the next version of your professional self, we help you gain clarity and move forward with more confidence.

Maritza works with adults and adolescents (16+) navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, career challenges, parenting, and relationship and family conflict.
Her approach is rooted in the belief that meaningful progress looks different for everyone — and that real growth happens when the work is aligned with who you truly are, not a version of yourself someone else expects you to be.
